iXplain_CDS – info page is online!

No quod sanctus instructior ius, et intellegam interesset duo. Vix cu nibh gubergren dissentias. His velit veniam habemus ne. No doctus neglegentur vituperatoribus est, qui ad ipsum oratio. Ei duo dicant facilisi, qui at harum democritum consetetur.

The junior research group (JRG) iXplain_CDS at the Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics (PLRI) of the Hannover Medical School and the TU Braunschweig now also has its own online presence on our HiGHmed website.

Dr. Dominik Wolff and his scientific team are researching and developing clinical decision support systems (CDS) that can be used across clinics thanks to their interoperable design. Through their explanatory components, they can increase the reliability of predictions as well as the trust of medical professionals and patients.

More information about the tasks and goals of the JRG can be found at the following link:

Background:

Well-trained professionals are a key success factor of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). For this reason, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is providing supplementary funding of around 30 million euros (2020-2026) to 21 junior research groups as a substructure for newly established medical informatics professorships. The junior research groups are to support the professorships and be integrated into the work at the universities. This makes the forward-looking research field in Germany attractive for scientists.
