In Germany, there will be a MasterClass on "openEHR" starting in October.
The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the structure, functionality and application purposes of open standards such as openEHR.
The course is mainly in English and has already been successfully offered in the Netherlands.
It is led by Hanna Pohjonen (Consultant & openEHR Embassador of Finland) and Jan de Lange (Consultant & Member of openEHR Foundation).
It will start on 04 October 2022 and will last for approximately 6 months.
It is essentially a self-learning platform, enriched by discussion and chat rooms as well as some video conferences.

In the future, efficient IT solutions will depend on an intelligent combination of standards for interoperability in the health sector. HiGHmed therefore represents the technological approach of placing FHIR and openEHR as mutually complementary standards.
