Appeal for patient-centric digitalization in the care continuum

No quod sanctus instructior ius, et intellegam interesset duo. Vix cu nibh gubergren dissentias. His velit veniam habemus ne. No doctus neglegentur vituperatoribus est, qui ad ipsum oratio. Ei duo dicant facilisi, qui at harum democritum consetetur.

"Only with coordinated and sustainable digitization strategies of all connected health sectors and a participatory role of the citizens can a true continuum of care be achieved."

Signed by our HiGHmed consortium leader Prof. Roland Eils and our HiGHmed e.V. managing director Stefan Becker, HiGHmed supports Patients4Digital and its founder Mina Luetkens in her appeal for patient-centered digitization in the care continuum.

The central demands of the appeal are:

  1. a clear commitment to inclusive digitization in healthcare.
  2. technically simplified, transparent, and personalizable consent management in accordance with uniform federal requirements.
  3. more direct, transparent and equal involvement of all participants.
  4. a data infrastructure and data models in accordance with international standards that are interoperable in all dimensions.
  5. a leading role for Germany in the international debate on regulations and data standards for health data.
