HiGHmed is looking forward to the next phase of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) 2023-2026 with the official grant notification (Module1). The entire HiGHmed team enters the new year highly motivated and is looking forward to new projects and new challenges!

The HiGHmed Consortium is well-organized, effectively structured and governed and benefits from high levels of informatics, medical, and management expertise. It has demonstrated excellent performance over a significant period of time. The now proposed work is highly likely to succeed."
Consolidation and Extension Phase (2023-2026):
The results achieved in the expansion and networking phase will be built upon in the next funding phase. Successfully demonstrated solutions will be transferred to other university hospitals as well as to other clinics or research institutions. In order for researchers, physicians and ultimately patients to benefit from the progress as comprehensively as possible, the inclusion of other actors in the data exchange is planned in this phase. These could be, for example, facilities in outpatient care or private clinics.
