Use Case ACRIBiS

Data analyses help health care providers and their patients to better assess the risks of cardiovascular diseases. In this way, heart health can be better protected and worsening of heart disease can be prevented.

The overall medical picture of a person helps doctors to better recognise the personal health risks of their patients. This enables them to personalise prevention and therapy measures in each individual case and to provide the best possible care for each patient. Supporting this personalisation in cardiovascular medicine with highly complex data analyses - that is the goal of the ACRIBiS project (Advancing Cardiovascular Risk Identification with Structured Clinical Documentation and Biosignal Derived Phenotypes Synthesis) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The BMBF is funding this use case of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) with more than nine million euros over four years.
