On 6 and 7 September, the stage at the Academy of Sciences in Berlin belonged to the six Digital Hubs, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The Digital Hub CAEHR, led by Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting and Prof. Dr. Udo Bavendiek, was among them.
At the halfway point of the projects, the interim status of the Digital Hubs was exchanged and challenges were addressed at a status seminar under the motto "Digital Hubs: research.network.share" - organised by the ‚Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V.‘ This led to lively discussions in which many common questions and potential for synergies were identified.
At "World Cafés" there was the opportunity to examine aspects in more detail in small groups and to benefit from different perspectives and expertise.
"This event was an excellent building block for further networking in order to successfully tackle the next two years of projects. And one thing became clear: we need further exchange opportunities across the Digital Hubs or even joint knowledge management," emphasised CAEHR project manager Benjamin Löhnhardt.
A follow-up meeting of the Digital Hubs is already planned for 28 February 2024 in Leipzig.
