On Tuesday, 20 September 2022, the HiGHmed Association and the Medical Data Integration Centre (MeDIC) of the University Hospital Heidelberg received representatives of the Robert-Bosch-Hospital (RBK) in Heidelberg, which has been a member of the HiGHmed Association since 1 June 2022 (News). The aim of the hospital based in Stuttgart is to start setting up a MeDIC according to HiGHmed standards.
Present from the RBK side were Nico Schmid (head of MeDIC) and Micha Christ (MeDIC employee), from the MeDIC of the University Hospital Heidelberg Dr. Angela Merzweiler (head of MeDIC) and Reto Wettstein (scientific employee at the Institute for Medical Informatics) and from HiGHmed Association the managing director Stefan Becker (not on the picture) as well as the HiGHmed Association project managers for digital health, Larissa Gillham and Anna-Maria Zierenberg.
