Within the PCOR-MII project (Patient-Centered Outcomes Research in the Medical Informatics Initiative), the experiences of patients are moving into the medical focus of university hospitals. By systematically recording their perspectives during treatment - for example on complaints or quality of life - we want to measurably improve care.
What makes PCOR-MII special is that patients and patient representatives are actively involved right from the start - as equal partners in research.
