Just like HiGHmed, both companies have recognised that an intelligent combination of standards for interoperability in the healthcare sector will be essential for efficient IT solutions in the future. HiGHmed therefore sees itself confirmed in the technological approach of placing FHIR and openEHR as complementary standards, with FHIR (with SMART on FHIR) being used in particular as a connector to the data stored in openEHR. We are excited about this development and look forward to a great collaboration!
