The data infrastructure is ready: Under the motto "Using health data, strengthening research, improving therapies", over 300 participants came together at the symposium of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) on 13 December 2023 in Berlin. This year, the MII, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), entered its expansion and consolidation phase. Experts from the fields of medical informatics, patient care and research in German university medicine and other MII partners presented the latest results of the initiative, the research data infrastructures and new use cases.
