What started as FHIRBridge has now evolved into something much more powerful. HIVEconnect is a complete redesign – built from the ground up by HiGHmed e.V. to connect FHIR and openEHR seamlessly. We did this together with our great partners from Medblocks. Now available as an open-source tool for the openEHR community.

Supports bidirectional mappings between FHIR, openEHR, and due to our preliminary work also OMOP

FHIR enables fast data exchange. openEHR provides structured, long-term medical data. With this bridge, both can work together effectively.
Mappings for key elements of the German MII core dataset are already included.
