Strengthening research with innovative IT solutions and an improved patient care in the future - these are the goals of HiGHmed and of the entire Medical Informatics Initiative Germany (MII).
The film "Heart Failure - Affected Persons as Research Partners / HiGHmed – Strengthening research and advancing healthcare" uses the example of heart failure to show how exactly this can be achieved: Patient data scattered among many health care institutions are brought together in one information pool. And in this way they can – for example – help physicians to identify high-risk patients with heart failure at an early stage.
