DMEA – Connecting Digital Health has come to a close, and this year’s event once again impressively demonstrated just how dynamically the field of digital healthcare is evolving. As one of the key gathering places for stakeholders from the healthcare sector, research, and industry, the trade show once again offered numerous opportunities for in-depth exchanges, fresh insights, and forward-looking discussions.
Together with our partners, the DIFUTURE, MIRACUM, and SMITH consortia, the MII Coordination Office TMF e. V., and the Digital Hubs, we had a joint booth in Hall 3.2, Booth E-113. The close collaboration on-site has once again demonstrated how valuable the pooling of expertise and experience is for the further development of medical informatics.
The Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) was the focal point of our trade show presence. Through numerous discussions and presentations, we were able to demonstrate how, over the past ten years, a robust foundation has been established for the structured, secure, and interoperable exchange of routine medical data. This foundation is an essential building block for data-driven research and a sustainable healthcare system.
We were particularly pleased to see so many interested visitors, to engage in professional discussions, and to receive valuable feedback on our projects and approaches. The DMEA once again demonstrated how important networking and collaboration are for successfully driving digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
We are taking away many new insights, ideas, and contacts, and look forward to incorporating these new ideas into our future work.
